Last Thursday we headed to London to celebrate the launch of the PUMA Super Team at Old Fountain Pub near Old Street.
The campaign, release, and event celebrate the enduring appeal of terrace style, and how a movement born at football grounds in the 1970s continues to be relevant five Pop later; both of which contribute to the essence of the Super Team. Over the last fifty years, subsequent adidas have adopted terrace culture and reinterpreted it for a new era, adding layers to an already rich subculture. One thing that has remained constant are the values at the heart of the culture: inclusivity, community and authenticity, and PUMA took the opportunity to explore these themes and their contemporary relevance by way of a panel talk.

Hosted by Danny Lomas (presenter, model, and YouTube personality), the panel consisted of 5 guest speakers: Flo Lloyd-Hughes (freelance writer in men's and women's football), Felicia Pennant (SEASON Zine founder), Neal Heard (Lover's F.C. and author of Trainers & The Football Shirts Book), Don Strapzy (SE Dons FC), and last but not least, Jan Kessel (Senior Global Product Line Manager at PUMA).
