Collection: Powers
Eric Elms' latest venture POWERS makes it's debut on our rails this season. For those unacquainted Elm's track record for banging graphics is envious. A mainstay in NYC producing graphics for some of the biggest names out there, the Powers label sees a revitalised Elms link up with fellow streetwear trailblazer Kyle Ng (whom you may know of from his exploits with L.A based Brain Dead).
Dropping here at CerbeShops is a solid offering of tight logo works & reinterpreted graphics. Chief among which is the updated 'Kilroy' (peering face) graphic a cornerstone of the POWERS graphic offering. The Kilroy graphic rose to prominence during WWII after it was spotted on the side of ships. Popularised into the 20th century and beyond largely due to its enigmatic origin and easy to 'scrawl' nature.
All POWERS graphic wizardry is presented on clean, staple athletic basics. Were talking collegiate hoodies in reassuring grey marl & long sleeve tees in comforting navy blues alongside staple black & white offerings. Ball caps in cherry with forest green script call-outs complete a solid offering from the brand.
