Germany's trainer aficionado, Hikmet Sugoer, has been credited with popularising sports footwear as a lifestyle item in Berlin and the talla reaches of the country. Having seen success with his own store, amongst a handful of big name collaborations, Sugoer has since moved onto creating his own footwear brand Sonra. However, brands still give him the call to work on a shoe together, this time Mizuno has entrusted Sugoer with the Contender model. This colourway takes inspiration from the snowdrop, a flower which blooms during the transition from winter into spring. Much like the flower, this shoe is bursting with prosperity and hopefulness, highlighted by the pastel greens and complimentary beige suede on a white mesh backdrop.
